Design Your Session

There are different types of sessions that we hold at the Storymoja Festival. You may have been invited to lead a Masterclass or a workshop, deliver a lecture, participate in a play, storytelling, book launch, live discussion forums, debates, live performances, competitions, mchongoanos, music, and many more.

Your invitation letter, or communication with the festival will have indicated whether you are working with children only, a mixed audience, a general audience or adults only audience.

We love to hold interactive, thought-provoking, creative and inspirational sessions. All sessions are required to keep to a tight 90 minute format for general sessions and 45 minutes for the sessions in the Schools Programme. Kindly familiarize yourself with the programme to get the timing of your session right, even as you prepare for the same. We expect you to enforce this during your session.

All the sessions will be held at a venue to be communicated.

The purpose of this section is to ensure that you have enough and correct material, props, etc for use during your session.

Please assist us to make things work smoothly by filling in the form below if you are a session leader. If you are working with a partner, a discussion prior to filling out the form would be useful.

After designing your session, please specify requirements for your session. What material(s) you need for your session.  Will you need pre-printed materials? Will you need flip charts, paper, and pens for participants of your workshop? Would you like to have a slide/screen presentation? Kindly share the presentation and/or any files you want us to print by latest January 31st, 2020 at 5pm.

We want you to be well-equipped for all your participants and to make it a worthwhile experience.

If you have any questions, ask Luigi (artists management) at luigi@storymojaafrica.co.ke.
